Jodi Eisenstadt, JD, SPHR, President and Founder of Eisen Alliance, is passionate about making the workplace work better for everyone.  She leverages her investigative, research and analytical skills to build more productive and engaged workforces through (1) conducting independent fact-finding investigations of workplace complaints, (2) coaching abrasive leaders, and (3) creating and delivering group and one-on-one training programs on topics such as anti-harassment, bias in the workplace, workplace investigations, and effective conflict resolution and communications.

Jodi is a member of The Boss Whispering Institute, which is dedicated to research and training in the field of coaching abrasive leaders. She is a Senior Professional in Human Resources, a certified mediator from the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago, and a member of the Illinois bar.

Since 1999, Jodi has conducted independent high profile investigations of discrimination and harassment complaints for clients of the most well-respected law firms in the US.   She has developed and facilitated training programs on topics such as building culture through communication, developing respect in the workplace, management 101 and conflict resolution. She has provided consulting services to clients in diverse industries such as manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, energy, and social services.

Prior to consulting, Jodi practiced employment law for six years in the Corporate Law Department of the Chicago Transit Authority, a public transportation organization that included more than 11,000 employees.  While there, she shaped personnel policies, limited CTA exposure to employment liability and represented the CTA before the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other administrative agencies.

In addition to her in-house experience, Jodi has driven harassment investigations, conducted employment practice audits, and developed employment policies as an attorney at several respected Chicagoland law firms, including Baker & McKenzie and Sachnoff & Weaver, Ltd.  Before discovering her interest in employment law, Jodi practiced law at Mayer Brown.

Jodi earned her Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School, with an award in research and writing and a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in history from Duke University.
